Thanksgiving at Eagle’s Landing Transitional Veteran’s Community
In 2013, AGB had the opportunity to partner with Volunteers of America Southeast as Eagle’s Landing Transitional Veteran’s Community here in Mobile, Alabama was completed. We were able to completely fund two units and provide small appliances and linens for all 36 units as well as large appliances, TVs and workout equipment for the exercise room. To fund this project, a coworker created a t-shirt to honor our veterans and we sold the shirt to all employees and encourage them to wear them every Friday. Ten years later, we still sell our RED Friday tees as they are an office favorite. Proceeds from the shirt are used for various needs at Eagle’s Landing including Thanksgiving lunch. We began providing and serving lunch in 2015 and it has become one of our most beloved traditions. Each year, we have a dozen + employees spend part of their Thanksgiving serving lunch to the veterans and then sharing desserts and getting to know a little about them. Oh the stories they have to share!

Adjusters Give Back is excited to partner with our local Ronald McDonald House to provide a homecooked meal for the residents each month. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile provides a supportive home environment offering care, compassion, and hope to families with seriously ill and injured children being treated at area hospitals and it’s our pleasure to be able to support these families.
